3. SaaS and API-Based Model (FINAL VERSION)
The Platform operates as a web-based, API-first Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution designed to integrate with healthcare systems, hospital infrastructures, and third-party applications.
Key Characteristics
- The Platform is integrated into hospital systems, clinic platforms, or partner applications through APIs
- The Company does not provide a standalone consumer-facing mobile or direct patient application
- The Platform is used within structured clinical environments to support healthcare workflows
- The system functions as an infrastructure layer enabling AI-based interaction and documentation
Role Definition
API Clients (Hospitals / Clinics / Partner Platforms)
API Clients act as independent data controllers and are fully responsible for:
- Collecting patient data
- Obtaining valid, explicit, and informed user consent prior to any interaction
- Providing clear privacy notices to users
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including data protection laws
- Managing data storage, retention, and deletion within their own systems
- Implementing secure systems for handling patient data
API Clients must ensure that no data is transmitted to the Platform without obtaining proper user consent.
Company (ZEPTA FOCUSAI TECHNOLOGY PVT LTD)
The Company acts as a data processor and processes data only for limited and defined purposes, including:
- Enabling AI-based patient interaction
- Generating structured clinical summaries
- Improving system performance using anonymized and de-identified data
The Company:
- Does not independently collect patient data directly from end users
- Does not control how data is collected, stored, or managed by API Clients
- Does not maintain comprehensive or long-term identifiable patient records
- Processes data strictly based on instructions received through API integrations
Consent and Data Transmission
As part of the API-based model:
- The Company relies on API Clients to obtain all necessary user consent before initiating any interaction
- Any data transmitted to the Platform through APIs shall be deemed to have been collected with valid and lawful user authorization
The Company does not independently verify individual consent mechanisms implemented by API Clients and shall not be responsible for any failure by API Clients to obtain valid consent.
Limitation of Control
The Company has no direct relationship with end users (patients) in API-based implementations and therefore:
- Does not control user interfaces through which consent is obtained
- Does not control how API Clients store or use data outside the Platform
- Is not responsible for compliance failures occurring within API Client systems
Operational Scope
The Platform functions strictly as a processing and support layer within the healthcare ecosystem and does not operate as:
- A healthcare provider
- A clinical decision-making system
- A medical records storage system
All responsibilities related to patient data ownership, consent, and regulatory compliance remain with the API Client.
4. Eligibility
By using the platform, you represent and warrant that:

Organizational Use
If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization:
- You confirm that you are authorized to act on its behalf

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Platform does not violate any legal or regulatory requirements.

Any data transmitted through API integrations shall be deemed to have been collected with proper user authorization.

- Outputs are generated automatically based on user-provided inputs and system processing
